Autumn has over 20 years’ experience in client services, retail, and sales management. After owning her own agency, she transitioned to Commercial Lines in 2017 and found a niche servicing clients with commercial business needs. She joined Adams Insurance Agency, as Commercial Relationship Specialist, in 2020 and is licensed in Property, Casualty, Life, and Health.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, and grandson, which is mostly spent boating in Ocean City and enjoying Downtown Frederick life.

Mike joined our agency in February 2020. He spent 20 years as a paralegal until he found his passion as an insurance producer. He is licensed in Life, Health, Property and Casualty and specializes in commercial insurance. Outside of the office, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Afroditi was born and raised in Glenn Dale, Maryland and eventually moved to the Frederick area to pursue an education at Mount St. Mary’s University. She graduated in 2018 with her Bachelor’s in Business Management and in 2019 with her Master’s in Business Administration.
Afroditi began working at Adams Insurance part-time while working on her MBA, and after completing her program, she obtained her license and came on full time. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kim joined our team as a customer service representative in June of 2019. Supporting our personal lines department; she has since completed her Maryland insurance license. She resides in Mount Airy, Maryland and enjoys spending her free time with family, friends and her German Shepherd Bear.

Born and raised in the DMV metropolitan area, Marco is a true Maryland native. He graduated from the University of Maryland-College Park (Go Terps!!) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Before he joined the insurance industry, Marco honed his skills working as a loan officer assistant in the mortgage industry. He now specializes in both commercial and personal lines and is dedicated to providing every client with the absolute best service and the coverage they need.

When he’s not working, Marco likes being outdoors and traveling with the people closest to him. He also enjoys attending his church’s worship services, cooking, playing the guitar, and reading in his spare time.”

Katie graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with a degree in Business Management. She came to the agency in 2018 with a background in customer service and has used her experience as a CSR to better assist her clients with their insurance needs. Since joining the agency, Katie has become a fully licensed Property & Casualty insurance associate and continues to grow her knowledge of the insurance industry.

In her free time Katie enjoys going to the beach and camping with friends and family.

Amanda joined the Adams Insurance Agency family in December of 2018 as an associate agent. Formerly with the Bruce Finch, Nationwide Agency; Amanda has been a licensed insurance producer since 2005, specializing in commercial, farm, and personal insurance. A Frederick County native, Amanda has several ties with individuals and business owners going back generations. Amanda understands the value of customer service and has built a loyal customer base. This is the result of her willingness to go the extra mile for everyone she meets.

Outside of work Amanda enjoys spending time with her family raising livestock, hauling kids to cattle shows, horse shows, and cheer events. Amanda is also an avid supporter of the local 4H program and a mentor to children of all ages who raise and show their animals at the County, State, and National levels. Balancing her home life with two active children and a first responder husband, Amanda volunteers and advocates for several local charities as well.

Dawn started her relationship with our agency as a customer service representative before she became a licensed property and casualty insurance agent. In 2013 she transitioned into commercial lines and is currently the commercial accounts manager.

Outside of work Dawn enjoys spending time with her 4 children and is actively involved in helping them pursue their dreams of rodeo greatness.

A seasoned traveler and performing artist; with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance, Victoria has never stayed in one place for too long. That was, until she joined the Adams team in 2016. Originally a customer service representative, she has achieved her goal of becoming a licensed Property & Casualty agent. However, her primary focus remains providing Commercial clients with Certificates of Insurance.

Victoria spends her spare time outdoors, traveling, spending quality time with her family and friends, and rocking out at concerts.

Born and raised in Hamilton, NJ, Stephanie followed her father’s footsteps to Emmitsburg, MD where she attended Mount St. Mary’s University. While there, she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Business and a Masters in Business Administration. Stephanie now dedicates her time to providing excellent customer service at Adams Insurance Agency.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach with her Golden Retriever, Mandy.

Andrea joined our team in 2016 as a customer service representative but quickly obtained her license. She is now a fully licensed agent specializing in personal lines.

Andrea enjoys renovating old homes with her husband on weekends, and spending time with her family and adorable Newfoundlands.

Zack joined the Adams Agency in 2014 after graduating from Salisbury University with a degree in business administration. Zack specializes in both commercial and personal lines of business.

When Zack isn’t working, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his lovely wife Lauren.

Joe has been in the insurance industry for 25 years. He specializes in personal lines and commercial lines.

Joe loves spending time watching horse races, and his two favorite Baltimore teams, the Ravens and Orioles but nothing is better than spending time with his two children!

Born and raised in Wheaton Maryland, Ruth Lenga currently lives in Frederick Maryland. “Whether over the phone, or face to face, I’m dedicated to providing our policy holders with the service they expect and the coverage they need.

Denise oversees the business affairs of Adams Insurance Agency. Married to Mert, Denise has been managing the agency since the Frederick office opened in 2003. Prior to working in the insurance industry, Denise practiced law in Ohio and Illinois, and then enjoyed a wonderful stint as a full time mother of their three daughters.

As agency Sales Manager, Vince is an award winning commercial lines specialist and has been instrumental in making the Adams Agency one of the leading commercial lines producers in the region.

Outside of work Vince and his wife Amber are kept busy chasing their three rambunctious sons Vincent, Carter and Maxwell!

Mert Adams, our agency President, has been an insurance professional for over 30 years. A graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University, Mert has also earned his CLU® (Certified Life Underwriter) and ChFC ®(Chartered Financial Consultant) designations. He is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table.  Throughout his years with Nationwide, Mert has received numerous recognitions, including Champion Award, President’s Conference All-Star Team, Presidents Conference Award, and MDRT – Court of the Table.  Outside of the office, Mert is a dedicated husband and father of 3 daughters. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys attending his daughter’s extra-curricular activities.
